Added Fees for Buying
When you buy with a bank wire, we are charged a $12 wire receive fee by our bank. We pass this fee on to you. (Our policy is that we cannot buy gold with money we don't have.)
When you buy with a bank check or money order there is no additional fee.
When you buy with a personal check or business check, we require additional information from you and we charge a fee of 5% of the face value of the check in addition to our basic fee.
When you buy with evoCash there is an additional fee of 3% of the amount of e-gold you are buying in addition to our basic fee.
When you buy with cash, additional fees may be incurred depending on specific arrangements.
Conditions of Sale
When you buy e-gold from us, we agree to offer the price indicated subject to availability. If we are unable to fulfill your order, we reserve the option of returning your funds to you. Some exchange orders take longer than others. We are willing to seek a faster outcome for an additional fee. Speed fees will vary depending on market conditions.
Basic Sell Rates
We charge a basic fee of 0.75% of the amount of e-gold you sell us.
Added Fees for Selling
If you order a bank wire, we are charged a fee of $18 by our bank for domestic wires and a fee of $38 for international wires. We pass these fees on to you.
If you order a check and the amount is over $50, we pay postage and handling. If the amount is less than $50, we charge $0.80 for postage and handling in the USA, $1.50 for airmail, $15 for overnight in the USA, fees vary by destination for overnight international.
If you order a Western Union or MoneyGram transfer, we charge an additional 1.25% of the amount of e-gold you sell us for a total of 2%. In addition, you pay the Western Union or MoneyGram transfer fees.
If you order evoCash there is an additional 2.25% exchange fee.
If you wish to make arrangements to receive cash, additional fees may be incurred depending on specific arrangements.

A Note on Fraud and Theft
We are aware that some individuals have stolen e-gold in the past. We are aware that other individuals have stolen funds, or have funds obtained through fraud. We will not negotiate with thieves or frauds. We will not fulfill exchange orders for thieves or frauds. If we receive funds that we have reason to believe come from theft or fraud we will undertake to return the funds to their rightful owners on a best efforts basis. We strongly discourage criminals from trying to use our services. You won't like the results.
At the same time, we respect your privacy. We do not collect excessive information. We don't share your information with third parties unless we are compelled by law. If we are asked to share your information for any reason, we will notify you promptly.
